Here’s how to watch Prison Break online — live, on-demand, without cable, on Kodi, even for free.

Watch 'Prison Break' online

Season 5 of Prison Break, the hit TV drama on FOX, has ended. Which means you can now stream the entire season on-demand.

What To Stream Today

As a huge fan, I envy anyone who gets to enjoy this show for the first time. So if you’ve never seen it, it’s definitely one to put on your watchlist. (You will need to start from the beginning; see how to catch up on past seasons below.)

Here’s a brief synopsis: Due to a political conspiracy, an innocent man is sent to death row. His only hope is his brother, who makes it his mission to deliberately get himself sent to the same prison in order to break the both of them out, from the inside.

Watch Prison Break On Kodi — Free, Without Cable

You can also stream Prison Break for free — but stay away from those scummy “free live TV!!!” sites. There’s a better way.

You can use Kodi to watch Prison Break online for free (plus lots of other shows). What is Kodi? Briefly, it’s a media player you can use to stream TV episodes and other content from the internet.

How To Watch TV Shows On Kodi

One note — whether Kodi is legal is an issue of debate. Yes, the networks frown upon watching their content for free. Hey, I’m not here to judge. But it is highly recommended you use a VPN with Kodi to stay private and secure.

If you already use Kodi and need help finding the best sources to stream TV, see our list of the best Kodi add-ons. This includes several great options to watch shows like Prison Break on popular networks like FOX.

An alternate approach to Kodi is to download free episodes of Prison Break — but this is technically illegal, so beware of the risks and the precautions to take before you head down this path. See more about downloading free TV.

How To Watch Prison Break Replays Live Online

If you have cable or another TV subscription that includes FOX, you can watch replays of Prison Break live online on the FOX website. Go here to watch the Prison Break live stream on FOX after logging in with your TV provider.

If you don’t have a TV login, you can still watch Prison Break live online. A few different internet streaming services will let you live stream FOX shows as they air on TV, including Prison Break.

Best Cable TV Alternatives

First, you can watch Prison Break live and on-demand with fuboTV. FuboTV used to be just a sports streaming service, but now it’s expanded into general entertainment. In all, fuboTV now includes over 46 channels. You can get a 7-day free trial to test it out.

You can also use YouTube TV. This is YouTube’s new live TV streaming service. You can watch a bunch of popular network and cable channels live, including FOX — plus you get unlimited DVR space to watch shows later on-demand. It’s a great new option for streamers and cord-cutters. You can take advantage of the 1-month free trial to stream a ton of free TV, even if you don’t keep it.

The drawback is that YouTube TV is only available in a couple of cities. The good news is that even if it’s not available where you are, you can still get access. See how to get YouTube TV in any location.

Sling TV might also give you access, depending on where you live. To get FOX, Sling TV will cost you $25/month for the ‘Blue’ package. You can watch FOX on-demand with PlayStation Vue. PlayStation Vue is $30/month for a package that includes FOX. Both offer a free trial if you want to test them out.
