As an affiliate, San Antonio WOAI tends to focus its original news coverage on local issues during the traditional morning, mid-day, evening and late-night news slots. News 4 SA currently airs 24.5 hours of station produced news broadcasts per week. The weekdays show 5 hours of news, while each day of the weekend has 1 hour devoted to SA news.
