NBC Fayetteville’s rating of 8.0 out of 10 is based on a number of factors. KNWA NBC is the sister station of Fox 24 KFTA. Like KFTA, KNWA News is owned by Nexstar Broadcasting Group. As such, the two stations not only share an office on Dickson Street in Fayetteville, they also share a website.
Like most Nexstar station websites, it’s both functional and pleasing to the eye. KNWA weather reporting is outstanding with regular updates and easy-to-understand radar and forecasts. Additionally, KNWA has a very nice video section with all the latest clips from recent KNWA News broadcasts.
Unfortunately, KNWA-TV does not offer live streaming at this time. Another knock against the KNWA/KFTA website is that the TV schedule is extremely slow to load. More about our rating method.
KNWA News was nominated for six Emmy Awards in 2015. The station serves the 100th largest television media market in the United States. KNWA News broadcast area reaches almost 300,000 US TV households.
KNWA-TV began under the call sign KFAA-TV in 1989. It was bought by Nexstar in 2004.
