Watch ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Online Free, Live, On-Demand — Season Finale TonightBy Lyn Atwood / May 23, 2017 / Tags: Live Stream, Stream TV, TV Shows
Here’s how to watch DWTS online — live, on-demand, and even for free — so you don’t miss any of Season 24.
A new season of Dancing With The Stars is now underway on ABC. This is the 24th season of the hit dance competition show, with a fresh crop of celebrities seeking fame for their fleet moves on the dance floor.
This season’s celeb competitors include Mr. T, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan, Chris Kattan, Rashad Jennings, Heather Morris, and David Ross.
DWTS is one of those shows that’s hard to stop watching once you get sucked in to a season. New episodes are on Mondays at at 8:00 PM ET. If you won’t be near a TV, you don’t have to worry about missing any moments of glory, heartbreak, jealousy, or tooth-and-nail competition. Here are all the ways to watch Dancing With The Stars online — including for free, and if you can’t get the ABC live stream where you are.
How To Watch The Dancing With The Stars Online
ABC will stream new episodes of DWTS live online, both on ABC.com and the Watch ABC app.
Go here to watch the Dancing With The Stars live stream on ABC. You will need to log in with a TV provider. If you don’t have one, see the best cable TV alternatives for other ways to get access (even for free).
Note that the ABC live stream is only available in a handful of US cities (Chicago, Fresno, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, San Francisco). So if you’re not in one of these areas, see below for how to get access.
You can also watch full episodes of DWTS on-demand on ABC after logging in with your cable provider.
How To Live Stream Dancing With The Stars If You Have Cable, But The ABC Live Stream Isn’t Available In Your Area
You can watch Dancing With The Stars live online on ABC from any city in the country. You just need to bypass ABC’s location-detectors.
For step-by-step help, see: How To Watch ABC’s Live Stream Anywhere
You can do this to watch the Dancing With The Stars live online on ABC.com or the Watch ABC app.
Watch Dancing With The Stars On YouTube TV
YouTube TV is YouTube’s new live TV streaming service. You can watch a bunch of popular network and cable channels live — including ABC — plus you get unlimited DVR space. It’s a great new option for streamers and cord-cutters. You can take advantage of the 1-month free trial to stream a ton of free TV, even if you don’t keep it.
The drawback is that it’s only available in a couple of cities. The good news is that even if it’s not available where you are, you can still get access. See how to get YouTube TV in any location.
More Ways To Watch DWTS Online — Free, Without Cable
You can also stream Dancing With The Stars for free — but stay away from those scummy “free live TV!!” sites. There’s a better way.
You can use Kodi to watch DWTS (plus lots of other shows) online for free. What is Kodi? Briefly, it’s a free media player application you can use to stream TV shows and other content from the internet.
One note — whether Kodi is legal is an issue of debate. Yes, the networks frown upon watching their content for free. Hey, I’m not here to judge. But it is highly recommended you use a VPN with Kodi to stay private and secure.
To see what you can watch on Kodi, and how to get started, check out our beginner’s guide on how to use Kodi or our Kodi review. If you already use the media player and need help finding quality sources to stream TV on Kodi, see our list of the best Kodi add-ons. This includes some great options to watch shows on ABC both live and on-demand.
An alternate approach to Kodi is to download free episodes of DWTS — but this is technically illegal, so beware of the risks before you head down this path. See more about downloading free TV.
