"I'm not all that surprised by this news because Kyrie Irving is really immature." - Jason Whitlock

Speak For Yourself discusses the report that the Cavs star wants out of Cleveland.

Jason Whitlock, how in the hell did you get a job to make opinions about sports or anything with that matter for an audience.

Heaven forbid somebody don't want to play with queen lebron kyrie wants to break out and be more then just guy that shares court with him

Not immature, it's not stupid he knows LeBron is gone and won't sit around and rebuild or whatever they're gonna call it..

I say send him back to his hometown and he let him go do what LeBron had the opportunity to do: win a championship for his hometown team, the Brooklyn Nets. He thinks he's ready to take on LeBron, good luck! LeBron took the Cavs from last place to the finals in his first 4 yrs in the league and trust me, that 2007 team had absolutely no business being in the finals and was one of the worst rosters ever taken that far (nevermind the fact that the team leader and only real talent was 23 yr old LeBron James) so compared to that, this should be a piece of cake! All he's gotta do is figure out the answer to the same question that has dominated the NBA for the past 14 yrs, how do I stop LeBron James??

These guys seem more distressed that Lebron now has a less chance of ever winning another title than the fact that this is a brave and IMO smart move by Kyrie !. Remember not everyone wants to be known as Lebron's sidekick, some players actually have integrity and want to forge their own identities !, not all players are ring chasers at any cost ! Karim Jebara

Cavs fans all season: "Kyrie best PG in the East, he's a future GOAT" Cavs fans now: "Kyrie is trash! John Wall is better, we don't need him anyways!" 😂😂😂😂😂 so unbelievable

kyrie in my opinion is one of the most underrated players. Ik that sounds weird being that he's considered of the best pg's in the league, but I think he's just underrated as a whole, some of the things he does on the court are just unreal and I truly think he's the best all around guard in the league. That being said though, the league today is ran by the 3 spot wing scoring position, and as good as kyrie is I don't think he could lead a team to the finals. He's definitely that second player though and I think he should just try to ride this season out with lebron.

Kyrie doesn't want to be apart of a collapsing team. Once the GM was fired, we all knew that LeBron was gonna leave after this season. You think LeBron asked Kyrie, hell no. He's trying to get out of dodge before it all blows up.

I get what he is doing but Warriors too strong. Is Spur that much better then Cavaliers maybe but maybe not. This has to do with either money, he really doesn't like Lebron or the team is in more disarray then we think. Now Lebron will leave next year but Los Angeles isn't answer you still have Warriors in west!

IMO Kyrie is being smart, not immature. Too much instability and question marks and negative vibes he's getting from the Cavaliers. He knows anyone would take him and he'd shine no matter where he goes, so the decision to want to move to a more stable and respected management wise organization is completely understandable. So Jason Whitlock baffles me with his assessment

number one question...who is kyries father?he was a leader and took 2nd place to no one on the lakers...kyries father has finally got into his sons head...kyrie had a ggreat season but its been looked down on because he plays with the almighty lebron james..its a 5 man team out there and i dont care who u r u need all 5 to win....kyrie needs to be like his father but he just dont have the magic...lol punn intended ....he alreay had his own team and failed but now i think he is a much better smarter player than he was then...good luck kyrie and jason whitlock go to work for mcdonalds man u aint got nuttin good or smart to contribute on that shwo...later

When has fatlock ever talked good about a black athlete

End of the day the Cavs are in HORRIBLE shape. They have no cash and no draft picks. Future is screwed. Kyrie is trying to get out before it implodes. Plus it's not what he signed up for. When he got his extension Lebron wasn't on the team. Cavs told Irving They were gonna build thru him. Then they signed LBJ.

Kyrie Irving is immature.Know one knows if LeBron James is leaving Cleveland. He never came out in said that he was leaving them. The media comes up with these stories. They have to have something to talk about.

He isn't immature. He's tired of L. James and his attitude of my way or the highway. For some it's not about championships, it's about playing the game you love without all the drama.

Fox feally losing their mind...first they assumed every team in the east would fork over their superstar for lebron (blessed be his name) well that didnt happen lol..now they find out that playing with bron isnt everything they say it is..i love it

This is all speculation, no one heard that Kyrie said he doesn't want to play with LeBron in fact I don't think the problem is LeBron I think it all the rumors of LeBron wanting out and Kyrie don't want to be on a team that may get broken up and starting the rebuilding process, we do know if LeBron decides to leave and go to the Lakers they have the cap space to build a Superteam to compete with the Warriors, Kyrie is looking out for Kyrie and there's nothing wrong with that, this league has two lanes now one ring chasing the other is paper chasing

Why does him wanting out make him immature? Especially when Lebron is planning on leaving the Cavs again next summer? And who would want to play with the Cavs when they have no cap space and no real assests...kyrie needs to make the decision before he enters his prime. The guy is 25 now. It is a smart move for his future if he doesnt plan on being with the cavs for the rest of his career.

Really immature? Why because he doesn't want to play with LeBron anymore? If you don't like your co-workers you find another job what's so different with this? If you didn't like your co-workers Whitlock you would be gone in a NY second..

That dude is being very disrespectful!! Kyrie is very mature and he doesn't want to play in the shawdows of Lebron anymore!! Kyrie is a super star in the making!! He is gonna be GREAT and win rings without LeBronn james

You're on a team that doesn't look like its building to beat the Warriors and your best player is about to ditch the city for HIS best interest (again). Kyrie is looking out for Kyrie which is what everyone else in that organization is doing right now.

If the man don't want to be there he don't wanna be there! Lebron comes off too me as an arrogant prick and a freaking cry baby.

Thank God this die hard Cavs fan at 59 yrs old got to witness her lst Championship. Here we go again!!! jeeeez!!! But I will root for my Cavs win or lose or whomever plays!!!

At least he's being straight up with the organization instead of leading them on and having them think he wants to and will stay.... unlike someone else!🤔🤔

Lebron did this with his leaving the team a year early. If I'm Cleveland I trade Lebron now for some draft picks and convince uncle Drew to hold it out.
