April Bates i saw the play of this and it is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE we have to watch it together so I can make you love it its like a modern day Shakespeare but also so funny/though provoking thank you BBC 2 u r gr8

Hi.. Does anyone know how I can get BBC television shows in America? I love British TV Shows. We have BBC America but doesn't have a wide variety. I would appreciate any ideas. Thank you

This is wrong. he will be George VII no Charles III " the impopular"

And such a shame Tim Pigott-Smith just died a couple of weeks ago - such a great actor

Charlotte Monks Me and mum still haven't finished The Crown yet 😂

Rosy Cooley 'for soon you will be king' this looks like trash- I'm all about it

WHOEVER HEARD OF THIS DEBT BEFORE THAT THEIR DEBT IS GOOD IS THE NEW ADAM SMITH: No debut is good if you are depending on it to save your skin. Julia Gillard, Kevin O7 and the Labour caucus incurred debt for a reason misinterpreted by Malcolm Turnbull in order to diffuse and dilute public ridicule at today’s ABC stammering show I mean hammering. The NBN one third the way stands at 54 Billion and still counting and you must surely have a thick hide to say without a grimace that you fixed Labours train wreck. What a load of rubbish to come from a PM 3 years in. I think we need the Architect of the NBN to come like Jesus the resurrection and the second coming before we find out if it’s good debt giving us a so called high speed poor man’s internet not even delivering 12 mbps the lowest in the OECD and from the Horn of Africa to Timbuktu when 100 mbps was promised long ago in fibre optics speeds at the hustling. Oh without excuses excuses which seem to the chorus why can’t we have a decent internet after 8 years after Labor left it in sound state like all other countries that are less fortunate than us so help us God?

Need to see this !

Looks worth a watch !

Ed McGovern... PDH calling this treason 😂

Who wants that Boob for King and his Tampon for Queen?

🙄

Won't be Charles lll in Scotland. ..

Lala Yup 😱😱😱😱😱

Should we tax the dead? 🤔 #viewsnight
... See MoreSee Less

Comment on Facebook

Luke Kozlowski this is BS. The dead already get taxed 40% on assets that they accumulated with income which was taxed while they were still alive.

And then there's the old saying. Why is there never enough money for education, social programs, homeless issues and the elderly but there's ALWAYS money for military armaments? This is true in every country.

So the options are either tax us more while we work, or increase the amount the government takes when we die?? How about directing more money wasted in government to fix this instead of again just taxing the people further, as it won't get used to help it will just get wasted in government more...

This is already happening, my Mum has been taxed to the hilt on my late father's money/pension etc. Government - stop wasting money and use the tax wisely you already get. If they stopped having referendums and elections every five minutes, that might be a start.

We are taxed to death as it is. From the moment we start work we pay income tax. If we buy anything we pay Value Added Tax. If you buy a house you pay Stamp Duty. If you have money in savings accounts you pay tax on the interest. Then there is Corporation a Tax for businesses, inheritance tax for bereaved relatives... How many more taxes do you want?

In the US we have SOCIAL SECURITY. If scum would leave it alone and not steal from it there would be enough for our elderly.

We opt to pay into a private pension, would it be possible to "opt" to pay into some sort of scheme that goes towards our retirement home? Just saying. Xx

We need to spend a lot less on Welfare (The Feckless Workshy) and divert this money to Social care...............There would be more than enough !

Isn't this what happens now? Anything over 23,000 is taken to care for a person should the need arise. Effectively this means that everything else is swallowed up to pay for them including their homes if they have been prudent, saved and bought their own homes. So in fact the charge is means tested too as the richer pay significantly more.

The creative solution is to stop giving our money overseas and use it here. Wealthy people dont use public purse funded care. Dont even think about double taxing those families who can least afford it - those working class families.

I'm failing to see how this would work.... We had to pay over 700 dollars to have our mom cremated. She didn't have anything to tax... Just a bunch of junk she'd hoarded.

Why not give monetary incentives to families to care for their relatives...many want to but many families need mum and dad out working so they cant....

The money they made was already taxed! Why should more go to the state? The person who made it should decide where it goes after they pass. Just another money grab for the government! They should spend less, not tax more.

Tax the dead??? Who's going to pay??? Their dead!!! Do you really think the family of the deceased will pay?? hell no they will be in mourning seriously it's like the world just slips deeper into madness every single day.

Speaks similarly to the inheiretance tax that the U.S. implemented in WWII and kept for not apparent reason other than to tax the 'dead' and complicate liquidating estates. A bad idea. This is another example of when the govenment has full control of health care costs and why to not do it.

yes, indeed we should if assets are left then the government should reclaim any debts incurred to the public purse.... You don't need the money when you are dead but they always would get around it anyway so pointless statement...

Why wait till their dead - you socialist liberal scumbag

Absolute rubbish. Make sure everyone pays tax and they wouldn't have to come up with this crap

we have the income in the UK but we are giving it all away in foreign aid etc

Well why don't the relatives of these people look after their own parents?

Just charge the big corporations who take billions out of our country every year and only pay a few million in taxes.

No way you pay tax all your life and inheritance may be the only way kids of today will ever get on the housing ladder

we need a stress tax , to fund those who spend all their life paying taxes and having so stress all their life because of that !!!

Oh yeah, and keep taking away healthcare so people die faster. Gross.

SO THE QUESTION IS.... Should we go through the pockets of dead people and steal their shoes??

I paid tax all my life, I planned ahead, I gave my daughter the house I bought for her to share at university, but when I now need help there Is non available - I got no help at all! My had to join a no help at all and needed an out of area GP and know that he can't visit me either so I have no viable GP.I feel I have already paid through my taxes for my healthcare,I get taxed on my dividends- so wish I hadn't saved at all -I got 92p interest in total on my savings- why did I bother to save at all ??i

I Agree money is worthless now, but at least a house is a viable asset. Dr's yes thats another story.

I can recommend Tai Chi and Qi Gong. They exercise both mind and body. The principles can be applied to everyday activities and anyone can participate no matter what their age or level of fitness.

Tried this when I was 11...couldnt do it then cant do it now ....no time to write any more ... am off windsurfing .... class for over 60 s

Dus it matter if you have to move one leg to get up, as I get up and down no handed fine but one doggy knee mean lots of pain

It looks like i'm going to die within 6 years. My goal was to out live my 18 year old cats. I'm cool.
