Meet the Lords: Peers of a certain age
'The House of Lords is the best daycare centre for the elderly in London.'

Where is the fairness in this? they get paid, have nice meals because they are lords but yet thousands of older across the U.K have to make a choice about food or heating and then have to pay ( up to £100 a day) if they want to access a day service?!🤔

This is a truly discriminatory post. Making a joke out of the House of Lords by describing it as a day care service for the elderly, is indignant and disrespectful to all elderly people!

so they get £300 a day just for turning up and other OAP's are having their day centres closed so they will have nowhere to go to socialise where's the fairness in that

If this is a publicity exercise then this programme has backfired very badly

Fascinating, thank goodness there are some interested in working for the people's issues and not just the free lunches, expenses and loss of the TV room

Sounds like Congress in the US and the Supreme Court

Well at least they can change there own

And they paid £300 per day just for attending!

Blimeyyyy I wish I was a Lord!!!

Disrespect... :(

Sindy Kwong put me there when i am old XD

One word ....... Unelected

What a joke!!!

Shame it looked like she had slept in it when she got out the carriage. Such a stunning lady in such a crumpled dress. Surely u as designers should av realised it was the wrong fabric to use.

She walked into a spiders nest...all he wanted were sons and then he threw her away...despicable way to treat her...she was only 19 yrs. Her sons saved her from pure misery....

It wasn't very nice , but we all looked terrible in the 80's
