A page called "Battle in Distress" is an excellent place to start if you are having issues with PTSD. They are brothers and sisters who have been where you are and understand.

EVERYDAY, should be PTSD Awareness Day!!!

Messed up as a youth and wasn't fortunate enough to serve my country, that will always be a regret that I live with. However doing time I seen some horrible things as well, like a guy getting torched in his cell, shankings, rapes and the racial strife. Yes I put myself there at 18, but like war you never know what you might see. 27 years later I struggle but maintain a full time job and pay my own way. But people like myself who turned their life around will never get the kind of empathy our great soldiers get. With health insurance being nearly unaffordable I just have to deal like many others.

I gotta question my dad has PTSD but was never in the military. He's a truck driver and has seen some pretty bad crashes could there be help for him.

Real help is families actually being responsible and teaching their children that these "wars" are based on lies and impoverishing this country in TRILLIONS worth of debt.

Either quit having wars for profit or have more so these poor soldiers have more company. Americas choice. VVAW

At each of these traumatic events is a medic trying, and failing, to fix it. Wonder how he's doing.

Bless them

WTF is that person saying
