Here’s The Best Of What’s New On Amazon Prime Video In August

By Steph Myers / July 21, 2016 / Tags: , ,

A bunch of new titles are landing on Amazon Prime Video next month. Here are the ones you won’t want to miss.

Amazon Prime Video is getting some new titles in August, spanning both TV and movies. The list isn’t terribly long, but does have some great stuff that you won’t want to miss.

Here are our picks for the best of what’s coming out on Amazon Prime Video next month:

House of Lies (Seasons 4 & 5)
Clockwork Orange (if you can stand to watch it, one of the best movies ever made)
No Country For Old Men (again, if you can stand to watch it, one of the best movies ever made)
The Matrix Trilogy
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trilogy (turtle power!)

Amazon Video is Amazon’s streaming service, with both original programming and a whole slew of TV and movie titles available on demand. Prime Video is the selection of titles that Amazon Prime subscribers get access to for free as part of their Prime subscription (which includes perks like free 2-day shipping, access to Prime music titles, and other benefits).

Amazon also now offers Prime Video as a standalone subscription for $8.99/month. You can get a 30-day trial to test it out.

Currently, Amazon Prime Video is only available in the US, UK, Austria, Germany, and Japan. But if you’re not in one of these, there is a workaround. See how to get Amazon Prime Video if you’re outside its available countries.
